The Power Of Change

If you continue to do what you did until now, you will probably continue to take what you took so far. They say that there is enough space at the top, but it is not enough to sit down. Although the changing circumstances of the time require the continued change and adaptation, too often individuals and businesses rest, stagnate and sometimes sink. But there is a way to contribute to achieving change successfully and to identify those factors that support the change. Why individuals and businesses do not change: - They see no reason to change - They feel comfortable with the present circumstances - They feel insecure with the changes - Have to change their habits - It needs desire, effort, work and perseverance - The quality of their performance is not so good at the beginning - Due to the need to take personal responsibility for change and results - Because «I always did it this way» - They have tried and failed - Because they believe that it is impossible What makes companies to change; 1. The intense pain. There comes a time when the lack of measures brings more suffering from procrastination. Then we act! The change occurs only when the pain to keep someone in the same state is higher than the same fear of change. 2. The ennui and boredom. «I’m sick of myself and I decided to change». People change when they are tired of the way they live and what they are. The same procedures, a moderate performance, the same monotonous routine. Until one day it comes to self: «That is all; Not anything else? » 3. The discovery that change is possible. Changing: me or others; If I believed that we can not change others then I should probably have to deal with another profession. We can change others. But that is not so simple: «You can change any person if he wants to change». As an American proverb says «You can lead a horse to the source, but you can’t force it to drink». Right. But you can tire the horse and make it thirsty so it will wish to drink! The administration of a company can handle and create the conditions in order for staff to seek change. The steps for change All start from the recognition of the objective and vision of transport or as described by J. Rohn, «The ability to turn nothing into something». The cost-benefit analysis may enhance the desire for change and achieving new goals. The faith in the ability to manage their goals should be accompanied by gathering the necessary information to identify potential partners and registration of potential obstacles. It then needs careful planning and almost always a change in tactics and strategy. Oh, I almost forgot: it needs work too! The monitoring of progress and feedback are necessary to make the necessary corrections to the original model. |
